I need help connecting printer to 4 port switch.
Trying to hook up my Mutoh 1204 to a network switch. no luck getting it to print. This whole network thing confuses me. Anybody know how to do it?

Been searching on google, with everything saying i have to buy a second network card for my pc. There must be a way to make it work when connected to a switch.

Ok forget the original post. Now i cant even get the damn thing back the way it was. says "cannot open port" in production manager. Even though i have everything set the way it was before. http://www.signwarehouse.com/suppor...a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=639&nav=0,16,94,111

connection Problem fixed. I was 1 freakin number off in the IP! They should really highlight that step on the website.

NEW PROBLEM - Now the printing isnt printing the file i send to it in the correct area, or it doesnt print it at all (just moves the head like its about to print then stops)

OK now I'm going to end this ridiculous thread by saying... Everything is back to working order. (knock on wood)
