My guess is it's either a custom design or based on an obscure old Letraset font. In either case, it's based on Eurostile/Microgramma, which were popular in the 60s when Folgers used this old version of their logo.
EDIT: Here's an image that might be helpful in identifying it. Note the font they've used for the copy isn't exactly the same as the logo. It appears the logo may have been based on it, or perhaps it was custom-designed and they just found a font that was similar to use for the copy.
