That's a tough one.

Thanks for the time spent so far, but it is certainly not one of those two.

Could it be something akin to "Ambersand" with alterations. E.I. slight reverse slant [ 1-2%], and a small amount of "roughening" of the outlines like in Illustrator where you can take a vector object or shape and roughen it?
