Wow...that's crazy. I just took my dad to the airport yesterday, and he joined a group of people from our town down there in Belize. Wasn't near as far away as I always assumed it was.

Last year in Mexico I had three bottles of decent Tequilla packed safe and sound in my luggage. They wouldn't let them go through because they were not packed in form-fitting styrofoam boxes. I should have kept my trap shut when they asked if I had anything. I told the girl to enjoy herself after work because you know that's were it's going. They missed the Cuban cigars and the heroin though....so it's wasn't a huge loss.
