I have to give a 5-8 minute presentation to a referral group on my business. I am looking for something to do that is fun and something different.
Anyone have any good ideas?

Depending upon time and budget let your products "hook em in" before you even start.

Treat it like a large expo.

1. Create a logo for your presentation.
2. Send out flyer, etc, to the attendees
On day of event
3. Do a quick partial wrap of a van and park it in lot where all would see
4. Use sidewalk graphics, window clings, floor graphics, carpet graphics, wall decals, sign frames, large cutout stand up, etc to display products to the attendees from time they get out of car to the room.

A little over the top but we did something similar awhile back. By time attendees were in room, all they wanted to talk about was all the cool things they had seen and how to get them.

Yes, I remember the first one that I did. So I made a How-To video and then put it on You Tube. The great part is, you only have to narrate the video. And that seemed easier than memorizing a speech. I can't believe the video I made has gotten over 17,000 views. Here is the video

Good luck with your presentation

I used to make wrap or sign kits for presentations. Bring in a bunch of PVC pieces, wrap sections & squeegees and let everyone get a taste of creating. Gives you an opportunity to talk about quality & value in your products etc. I usually got a great response and folks had fun.

When I was starting out, I wanted to specialize in "wall" material that was easy to apply.

Before I would go to these types of meetings, I would try to get all the logo's(of who was attending) I could off the web and print a small "wall logo" for these companies. Sometimes, I would give them a strip of 10 small decals of their logo.

You'd be amazed how appreciative people are when they receive them. $.10 in material can go a long way.
