IJ380 versus IJ180...

Anybody use the IJ380 from 3M? Wrapping our first motorcycle. It's pretty curvy. Is it worth the extra dough to use 380 instead of 180? We are also giving it a matte finish, so we would be using 8520, which isn't really recommended for 380. I understand that if I use 8520 with IJ380, it won't be covered under warranty.

Any suggestions from those who've used both would rock.

Thanks,
Ben

I use 380 on Sprinters. That's it.

You are going to have to seam your bike no matter what (especially if you are screwing with the tank). No need to spend the $$ for 380 in that situation.

On Sprinters though? HELL YES.

We also only use 380 for Sprinters and Transit trucks. The 180 is just as easy to use for 95% of your applications and you can match it up with warranty products.
