Illustrator how do I question.

Hi, I recieved a file from a customer that was designed in Illustrator. I can open it in the program but the vector artwork was created using lines with bleeds. I need to change the artwork so the vector lines are on the edges of the strokes not one single line in the middle. I there a quick and easy way to do this? Thanks for the help.

If you don't need them as strokes and more, you can expand the object and then expand strokes into shapes.

in the stroke palate...
you can align the stroke to the center, outside or inside edge.
