Ok, I must have pushed an odd key combo or something while working today... Every shape I create new is at a 45 degree angle instead of on the level with the monitor.

Does that make sense? (It looks like a diamond instead of a rectangle when I make a new square.) I can manually rotate it after creating it, but it's starting to annoy me.

Went ahead & deleted the prefs file today (as shown at that link) and now it's back to making regular 90 degree artwork! :thumb: now I just have to reconfigure my workspace....

For future reference don't forget to search backups for working setups. I had this happen to me once and I opened time machine (mac only, sorry) and found a working AI pref from the day before and restored. No worrying about reconfiguring. Sometimes it takes a long time to set things up the same way as before. Deleting the prefs does make you start from the beginning

With regular backups you should be able to do the same on Windows machines too, correct?
