I'm getting lines in my prints

When I print I'll get random lines in my prints like there will be a fine black line or any of the 6 colors I have on the print and I don't know why or how to fix it? I've ran powerful head cleaning cycles but that seems not to fix it. Does anyone know how to fix it I would appreciate it thanks

Just a note, two medium cleanings will always be more effective than a powerful cleaning.

-What does the test print look like? Can you provide a pic?

-When was the last time you cleaned the machine before this problem?

-What Calibrations and tests have you performed since this issue occured?

I have had this happen in the direction the heads run (scan direction). My problem was fuzz or somthing on the encoder strip censor. I used a can of compressed air to blow around and in behind where the censor is.

You can do a linear encoder check in the service menu.

Also the encoder strip may be dirty.

The other thing that can cause random lines is if the heads were replaced and the head rank was not re-set to the new head's number.

sounds like a stray hair on the head(s) swiping across the vinyl as it travels...manually inspect the bottom of your heads for stray hairs/fibers from, say, banner material etc

Here are a couple pictures of what it's doing and also when I run the test print I'm missing a lot of lines also.

I've done cleaning manual and also using the cartages. I've also ran most of the alignment test like head alignment flushing alignment like that :frustrated:
