I'M RE-BRANDING. Thoughts on new logo?

I like the upper top left too. I also think the spacing is just TINY bit too tight. If you let the space between the "L" and "O" be your guide, I would match to that and visually space the rest of the letters a bit more evenly. (for instance the space between "O" and "L" is too tight, open that up just slightly but leave the "L" and "O" space the same. Know what I'm sayin? These are VERY subtle tweaks I'm talkin here, cause I think your logo is pretty close.

Also, you might try taking down the grunge just a LITTLE bit. I like the effect, but it might be just a bit too much now. Again, I'm talkin very subtle adjustments.

Finally, lose the bottom line altogether. If people don't know that you do that stuff from the name and logo alone, you're in trouble!

One more thing, just my humble opinion, I'm not a fan of the floating ampersand. You might want a stylized version of "AND" spelled out. Not sure what that means exactly...maybe it's vertical, maybe it's just spelled out, and maybe it boils down to I just don't like the ampersand in general of that font the way it's drawn. but it's worth looking at least trying some other options there.

here is a cool link of different "the" treatments, might conjure up some inspiration.

post #10 without the first bullet before signs as that looks weird. the colors look best in that version. like how the mountain is blue and the word signs then you pull down the color in the bullets so it nice and balanced.

this has come a long way and I really like it -

prefer the second from the left.

Just an idear

(I posted the above before you adjusted spacing, looks better.)

Also...your grunge effect is kind of a rough, random treatment just throwing this out there as something to think about as well.

Likes the 2nd group 3 from left..
Suggested changes .. since you like the box layout, which is fine and like tight spacing ok
I read COL ORADO and & GRAP HICS ..this is the problem with tight spacing you can do it on some words and looks good or close up looks fine but at a distance it breaks up, try a lighter font for both words and the gaps will not be seen as much plus be more readable and less like a book or a rubber stamp.

The angling of SIGNS is good you may also want to super graphic the word making it bigger but part of ends cut off to fit within your box layout.

This is a good start but contrast is lacking a bit like both Colorado and graphics in blue would pop signs out also fonts all the same is sleepy

Just my 2 cents you doing alot better so keep at it.

I wouldn't use a grunge font for the smaller text

The smaller text is hard to read and even harder if you use a grunge font, although grunge fonts look good in headlines, I wouldn't use it in the smaller text.

Here are four different ideas for your viewing pleasure.

i wouldn't use the distressed look. to me it says. "buy my signs! and they will fade and peel just like this." if you are rebranding, rebrand toward doing large corporate projects... that is where the money is.

That logo really says that to you? I guess I don't read enough in to logos. I love where it's headed. I think the logo speaks to being on the front edge of design.

This particular logo will look good without grunge. It will be able to have a minor change done to it to keep it current once grunge goes back out of style.

I am continually agreeing with Jill about this particular logo. I think you've found it. Now quit over thinking and start putting it on your stuff...
