hi,
does anyone know how to import a very large technical documentation in autocad dwg (version unknown) into x4 without
assistence of any other programs ?
it´s about 50 squere yards big , and the maximal working area of x4 is not enough :)
is there any chance to reduce size during import?
thanks in advance !

Looks like the max size in Corel is 1800" = 50yards.

Importing dwg's is problematic. If the file is complex the dwg file formate is probably breaking the lines into billions of short line segments. Making the overall file size smaller may or may not help.

If it is for printing a plat map or something like that, you might try opening/importing it into Photo-Paint.

thanks for your tips.
it´s in vectors, and with import in general is no problem.
but if i do, the graphic is distorted, due to lack of place.
by the way, i´m sure this forum is full of corel professionals :)
unleashed.com is a great site, but i haven´t found any forum.
if i´m wrong, please correct me :)
cheers!
