importing tif file and the program shuts down!!!

Signlab 8 - WTF!!! I haven't been tracking it but just about every tif file I try and import shuts the program down. What could be causing this?

file is way to large.....for the ram aloted to signlab....

thanks Old Paint...is there a solution...Flexi seems to have no issues opening the file in an older computer.
