For those of you who aren't aware, there's a 9 month long around the world sailboat race going on right now. It's the only sport I watch. Seven boats started the race from Spain last month. Unfortunately there are only 6 remaining... but no one was hurt and all are safe. The only injuries are to the pocket books of the sponsors and hearts of the crew.

I've never paid much attention to that sport but it sure takes some cajones to be out in the Ocean like that for 9 months. It's amazing how positive the guy still was in the first part of the video considering the situation they were in.

I remember going out on Lake of the Woods in my uncle's Martin when I was a kid and it scaring the crap out of me a couple of times. I used to love going out though. I think once I'm older and have more patience I'd like to get into it again. For now I'm into faster boats that get me to more fishing spots.

Holy Crap!!! Umm I love being on the water but that is just not my cup of tea.....

Small world! My family used to go to Lake of the Woods for summer when I was little. I remember how entertaining it was to stomp on the floating docks and watch all the minnows jump out of the water at the same time.
