indoor display board stands...

I am making indoor info boards for a large corporation that has many divisions. They have asked me to supply 48" x 72" display boards, which are basically composite aluminum with a digital print and plexi paper holders attached. They want to know if i can also make them free standing for areas that there are no walls to fasten them to.
Is there an economical way to make these or does such a product exist?

Depending on where they are being displayed, I wuold think it wouldn't be too hard to construct some type of an easel system attached to the back of the boards. All depends on height requirements, etc.

You could use an extruded aluminum system such as octanorm to create a freestanding structure. Octanorm may not be the best fit for you as I think that they have order minimums, but there are other companies out there making similar products.
