Info/tips for printing on clear??

Anyone have any tips for printing on clear..

I have a customer that sent me some file this morning that need some back-lit pieces printed yesterday of course.

He requesting me to print on clear vinyl that he can apply to white translucent plastic.

The only 2 colors that will be printed is black and red..

I'm printing on a Mutoh.. I remember when printing with the Mamiki I used to work with that you could lay down x2 passes to achieve a successful print..

On my Mutoh 1204 its under setting 13 overwrite count and setting 14 overwrite wait.

I suggested cut vinyl to the customer.. He wasn't interested... I guess cost may be a factor?? He is too a sign shop owner..


Ken1f, Thanks for the info I will expierment with these setting. I'm pretty sure you can double the pass count directly from production manager with Flexi.
