Ink cartridge errors on XR-640

Hi guys,

Has anyone experienced on the SolJet Pro 4 XR-640 bad chips on ink cartridges? We have had some recently (unless it is the printer) where during a job or regular ink cycle it will beep to say magenta or cyan is empty then stop and keep printing again. There is no pattern to this just every now and then but not sure if it is a bad chip or a problem with the printer or a sign that something is starting to go?

The I/C holder needs replacing. Just pay attention to what color does it
