In the day Mutoh, if you are using Mutoh inks, calculated a cost-per-sq-ft at no greater than $0.25. So this would be a starting point. I would suggest you attempt, visually or otherwise, to determine what you coverage % is and then do the math.

Your RIP should have the ability to assist you.

most of my prints range from 50%-150% ink coverage... also keep in mind that, as part of the cleaning cycle, wide format printers bleed ink even when they're not printing.
