Ink level detection problems on xc540.

We have been having a lot of issues with our machines saying ink cartridges are empty when they are full or full when they are empty. We use Inktec ink and I can see that the ink level tab on the cartridge is shaped slightly different than the original Roland one so I suspect that may be part of the problem. On the other hand it could just be a bad design so I was just wondering if others who use Roland ink have this same issue?

Any input appreciated!

Contact your ink supplier #1 to report the errors.

We have received zero complaints with the Roland OEM cartridges since becoming an Authorized Dealer last year.

It is likely to run into one or two over time but a recurring issue should be resolved.
