Ink Supply To Heads

I have a question. How is the ink supplied to heads while running ? Gravity ?
Understand that pump sucks thru cap when doing cleaning but what happens when you run a big file?

Read the manual. It will give you the technical way it works. IMHO how it simply works is that there are dampers on top of the heads which provide the vacumn to bring the inks from the cartridges. These also have filters in them for impurities. All elelctronic so watch out for power failures and surges. We run ours through a UPS to stabilise the power supply. Hey I could be wrong but it definately is not gravity.

Gravity is not just a good idea.....it is the LAW!

Yes, gravity feeds ink into the heads while printing.

For most systems the ink level in the cartridges is approximately head height.

The ValueJet 64s and 100s use a subtank at this level to regulate this.
