Installation Over Water

I'm sure you'd be able to find a rental, construction companies rent them more often than buying, so there's usually a rental option not too far away from anywhere. They come in various sizes, and most the roof units are on wheels, and can roll sideways on the roof, so you can move them and do multiple drops pretty easy. Safest, most efficient way to do that insanity.

At least you're not doing a water tower, the ones you use for those are really small, and really sketchy. Our installers have always been a little hardcore
That is some pretty crazy stuff.

Hi all. I am hoping someone out there can give me some advice on how to plan a removal/installation of posted letters over a very active river. I contacted the window washing company that has rigs setup to see if we could contract them, but no luck.

We have done a total rebrand of all exterior signage, except for this graphic. The guys didn't like the idea of being lowered by ropes around their ankles, so I'm at a loss of how to get this done, short of a MASSIVE crane on the other side of the river.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Question... We can see what needs to be removed, what are you installing? You said total rebrand... What's the new thing they want to put up?
The removal is what it is... Can you suggest something that would be easier to get to and/or install?

Pier/ Pile driver type of barge for installing piers with a boom lift on it. We see them all over the Chesapeake bay.

The replacements will have a slightly wider footprint, but basically the same. Just formed plastic Gemini letters with threaded posts.

Dude, bring the dolly back now! This sign isn't going to roll out of the booth all by itself. And if you welded it into another baby swing stage, I'm going to use it to kick yer ass up and down this shop...

But really, swing stage and a couple of steel balls if its your first time setting one up. Also make note of the max capacity of the elevator if you have one to move the weights to the roof. Nothing like getting stuck for an hour and a half cause nobody bothered to note how many plates were on the dolly.
