Installing Perf In Cold

Question, I am in PA we are hitting about 40-50 degrees. I need to remove old and install new perforated vinyl on outside windows (approx 5' high x 3' wide).
I know I can't really heat windows, so what is the best way to remove old perf and is it OK to install in 40-50 degrees?
Thanks!

Unless it's been on there a LONG time, usually Perf is easy to remove with no residue....and I have installed it plenty of times in 40-50 degree weather.

Razor blade works great on glass. Any residue use any of the adhesive removers then a final wipe with alcohol.

Scrape off with razor blade, rapid remover to remove any glue left behind, then final clean.

Install new perf as normal. Done.

Razor blade, like the others have said, but I like window cleaner, rather than rapid remover, at least on glass.

I did some windows last week, and I grabbed some cheap window cleaner from dollar general (1/2 gallon for $1.98). When I got to the job, I realized that it had ammonia in it. I figured it will clean the glass, and I would go back with the spray window cleaner I keep in my vinyl go box. I was surprised to see the blue stuff cut the adhesive like nothing else...
