Instant One Media - Who's using it - How is it to work with?

I just came across a post about Instant One this morning and its intriguing because of the price and the application that we have for it. We use a ton of Grimco's Brightline IM3201X-54 BriteLine Duration X, 3 mil, 5 year film, Permanent gray adhesive, eXtreme Air Egress. We build tradeshow exhibits primarily, and about 50% of them have vinyl mounted to sintra. All indoor, most 1 time use for shows. The brightline has been a great product for us and works well with our production flow because one guy can mount using our mounter and peel back the liner on 4 ft wide prints without having someone on the other side of the table helping to peel the liner back. I know it may not seem like a big deal, but when you're mounting 20-30 4x8 panels during a shift, it makes a difference in how the liner releases from the vinyl.

The fact that they are here locally to me is very appealing as well. I wanted to get some feed back about how this vinyl is to work with. Thanks for any feedback in advance.

I mostly used it on updating many 16" x 45" information panels on 4' x 4' real estate signs. Somewhere along the line, their vinyl became increasingly hard to release from the liner using a big squeegee, so I went back to Oracal. Not sure how you'd fair with your mounter. I'd get a roll and see. I had no problems with printing and lamming it.

The stuff has been gold for us. Super easy to use, prints great & you can't beat the price. I've been buying from them since they basically started with the product and I still haven't found a better deal for the price

It all depends which printer you are using.
I liked it when I had Mutoh. Now with HP latex, I prefer Oracal and Briteline over that one. To be honest, I did not mess with it too much, tried and got some tunneling from all the heat and then I sold the rest of the roll to the SameDay Signs (The guy that posted before me).
I'm sure it should work, but just did not have time to mess with it.

We use their Cast as our go to product. It is universal for us as a well priced flat signage product to a wrap product (not overly complex curves). We pair it with Avery DOL1360 or DOL1380 Lams.

It works great and best of all Don and the IOM team are awesome!

Printing primarily on a Mimaki JV-33 solvent, but may have a HP Latex coming in the future. Thanks for your feedback.

I'd love to use it, but have not been able to find a cure for the tunneling issue and I find the purplish cast it has hard to accept.

We use it as our primary vinyl unless need in a conform-demanding situation. I'll attach some of the examples!
