I've heard that you can manually enable Windows XP 32-bit to recognize more than 2.8 GB by changing a couple lines in a configuration file. However, Windows XP 64-bit should recognize a full 8 GB without reconfiguring it.
I honestly always had horribly bad luck with Intel for years and years, but recently their quality and power has really increased and even I, a quite die-hard AMD fan, have been looking around at them some.
I was wondering, are there even any design programs out there which are capable of utilizing the full quad-core multi-threading, or is it all still based on dual-core?
