I have a customer who has a couple of times now purchased foil inventory from someone who has upgraded from the Edge 1 & 2 to FX's. He pays 1/2 of new price of the remaining foil left on the cartridge. (Example if the cartridge is 1/2 used, he would pay 1/4 of the new price.
By doing this he has essentially made his single colour work on a par with Inkjet printing as far as cost per sq. foot.
It works for him as he estimates 50% of his work is single colour and the rest is stuff like Lexedge where he makes like a bandit anyways.
Just something to consider!
