Suggestions Inventory managment

Hello, any suggestions for a software so we can track the progress of the production per customer/order and the inventory of the materials that we have and use every day?
I am looking for alternatives of Excel!!!

what do you want this software to do?
input jobs? invoice?
Does the inventory need to be tracked automatically?

well i need to keep tracking the progress of a job because wehn the quantity is very big we deliver some amount in different month or year.
And the automatically tracked inventory throughout the progress of a job sound nice
maybe if i can see the stage of the job at the time (printing,cnc or packing)?

i don't know exactly the possibilities of a software like this all this years we use just an excel file but i have found so many errors and we have many problems
with the inventory at the end of the year we lost somehow 130pcs of paper sheet 2m*2m

Others will likely have more robust software suggestions, but Microsoft Planner works for me. It's admittedly basic, but is still lightyears better than Excel.
It doesn't do inventory, but has project completion variables - so you could keep track of how many signs you've made for your monthly deliverables.
Might be worth a look if you're already using Windows products.
