umm, its a bit much for a non profit organization, sure there's no cheaper solution?

how about any other stand alone software package that will work for windows 7

I currently have/use casmate but it's outdated....and crashes every time i try installing it on windows vista...

Well the Ioline Studio 7 is a few years old now!
I used one back in the 90s and if I remember it was a nightmare making it cut over 2M long.
It would not plot a 1.5M oval and let the ends join!

I don't think there is a problem with software for your plotter I think the problem is finding software that runs Windows 7!!!
I would find a machine that runs XP and you will be able to run any software.

There shouldn't be a problem with windows 7. You can actually have it to where the OS will run in compatibility mode and that is essentially in "XP" mode. This OS is far better then Vista was, although I'm not a "Vista hater" like a lot of people are. I think it was a descent OS, just commanded too much RAM to barely run it and if you didn't know that, it would frustrate you.
