Is 5mm Thick Enough?

I have a customer that wants a 5ft tall x 3ft wide sign made. He would like the background to be green. Would 5mm Alumacorr be strong enough for this? Grimco does not list green in 10mm, only 5mm.

well, 5ft isn't that much of a distance...if posts are a foot in from the ends its only a 3 foot span...plywood backer would help, or get the 10mm and paint it/lam with grn vinyl

Its 5ft tall, so the width would only be 3ft wide. It would also be double sided, so I cant put a backer. I wanted to save money and time by already having it green, but I may just lam with green vinyl if I have too

Yes 5mm is fine.
Depending on longevity, 10mm coroplast might work fine. It is tough stuff.
