Is any foam tip swab ok for cleaning?

I need foam swabs asap to troubleshoot a defecting print head/nozzle. A local office supply store sells foam Tape Head Cleaning Swabs. Would this be ok to use on our Mimaki printer? Thank you.

Maybe. One concern is to make sure that the solvent doesn't dissolve the foam tip.

Yes, even the makeup sponges (triangle wedges) from the dollar tree work great.
Just make SURE the swabs are 100% LINT FREE.
