triangle... my printer give me less fits on the triangle. think it has slightly slower drying time compared to SS2 so the caps/wiper don't dry out as easily. plus the yellow and the magenta are way more vibrant. the mimaki yellow is more golden. triangle yellow is YELLOOOOOWWW!

Dream is to find Mimaki japanese made HS-1(red magenta \mustard yellow combo) for the price of Mimaki chinese made BS-2 ink without getting black channels shot.

Both our JV3's are running third party inks, haven't had an issues. We build our own ICC profiles so coolours shifts never really bothered me. I'm getting the Ink from ND graphics, they're branding as their own "Ink Brite" but I believe it's from the same manufactures that made the ElevenTen inks

I cant believe ND sells third party inks and I have never heard anything of it. I buy all my ink from them and have never been asked to purchase this product!!!! You sure it's ND? also is it bulk or 440 cartridges and if I may how much savings are they over OEM?

No third party here...too many stories of an ink not working.

Well, that's just what they are--stories.

When I recommend Triangle ink, my recommendation comes from personally using the product for 7+ years--not from hearsay or anecdotal musings.

I've heard nothing but good of Solaris - lots of users report excellent results with it. I've run Triangle myself for well over a year with zero issues. I tried Image Specialists ink for the JV3 for about 6 months. I think it nearly destroyed the machine - the pigments were so insanley thick that within 2 weeks of using it I started getting clogs in the lines, frequent nozzle dropouts, clogs in the lines between the capping station and pumps, clogged damper screens, etc. Maybe they have changed their formulation some since we used it but I will never put that in one of my machines again. I ended up havign to replace all of the head adapters since their screens were clogged, all dampers, and it took nearly 3 quarts of flush before the lines were flowing clear after that disaster.

image specialists , or solaris

Triangles website is well not so great what you need to do is look over there site and find out what ink they make that fits your needs. For instance I use JVS ink this is a full solvent ink designed for the JV3 printers that use the DX4 Epson print heads. Once you figure out what ink they make for your needs then you have to find a supplier who carries it. Again there website is not very good so you may want to call them I remember talking to one of there guys at a trade show a year or 2 ago and they make ink for almost everything. I remember them saying something about a bulk ink LATEX they were working on and hoping to bring to market soon.

Hit me with the silly stick googling for only " triangle ink", googleing triangle inkjet ink yeilds triangleinx.com which goes <> inxdigital.com - that's the correct site(s)

triangleink.com seems to be for screenprinters ink

Seems I want PWB - pigment water based, as they don't seem to list aqueous dye except for textiles which require post treatment for fixation

Now to get my hands on some

Let the fun begin...

for aftermarket waterbased lyson is a great option. used their inks for a long time all of them look spectacular 15 years later. also this company (link) has some really innovative ink sets but are mostly set up for 12 channel rolands and epsons. the best deal going for the longest time was an ip8300. basically they give you the printer free with $2500 worth of ink. not sure if the that deal is still going on.

Im using Triangle EDX in my JV3 250SP. It hasn't given me any problems yet. I have been using them for about 3 months and about 2 liters each color and the colors are vibrant and the ink sticks really well to anything i print on. I use the roland branded EDX with generic profiles using Onyx 10. Im happy so far.

. I just changed to EDX and it is CRAP it Fisheyes but only when colors are combined. Printed separate the are perfect. I hate this ink! It had cost me a month of trouble!
We used The Triangle solvent ink for 10 years no trouble. Now we are fighting this junk!
