I have a 6-8 new 789 ink cartridges but I have l26500
I was wondering if it's possible to use the 789 ink or cartridge ?
Wondering If the ink is same and it's just the change in size of cartridge or ink is different for hp l25500 and hp l26500

No. Chips and ink are different. HP uses the same sized and shaped housing for ink cartridges across many platforms, but the chips on them are different per printer, as well as ink formulas.

cross-platform consumables is nowhere close to HP's business model.
even if it were the exact same ink & cartridge, they will surely program it into the chip to be rejected by the priner.

How so? 110,115,310,315,330,335,360,365,370,375,560,570 all share the same consumables.
