Is there a way I can import a .cdr into Adobe Illustrator or Gerber? Everything I try shuts me down..

Can't you export the file as an .ai from Corel. I'm still using ver12 and it does it.

I've had no problem with a file exported as an .ai (you may have to save to an earlier version so I always do that) from Corel into Omega and even GA 6.2

yeah I'm not the most skilled designer, but neither AI or Gerber will seem to touch it, just tells me no. It will not open, import, place, etc. It comes up every once in a while, so I thought I would see what the experts say

In Illustrator CS6, You can "PLACE" CDR files up to Version 10...

I just did it, but a few things were jacked up in the file.
