Is there anyway to cut a jpg in flexi?

OOOoohh. You want to cut it in half...sorry. tiredcreations has your answer.

Crop.

Click the Bitmap menu. Select the Bitmap tool bar. On it you will find
the crop tool.

If you have regular Flexi not Pro, copy the image so you have 2, Drag a box over each in the middle one over one half one over the other. Select the 1st box and image together, and go to 'arrange' and 'mask'. Do the same with the other image and box.

According to my feature matrix from Flexi 8.5, Mask/Unmask can be found in all levels. This can be found under the Arrange menu of design software. In order to "cut" your jpg in half... (see sketch)

  • Open your jpg in Flexi
  • Draw a rectangle object and cover over the portion you wish to keep
  • Select both the rectangle and the jpg image and go to Arrange: Mask: Mask
  • Your image will be cut in half

Its going good if i wouldn't keep getting called for jury duty! It kinda puts a damper on things for sure! Getting a few big clients in Albucrazy so that should start rockin here pretty soon!
