Is this a font?

This was made by an artist in the 1970s. It's a scan from a fax of a regular old-fashioned ink drawing on hot press.
I don't know if he hand-drew it from looking at Letraset or what.
Any ideas would be much appreciated. It does look familiar to me, and not something thought up at random. It has the feel of a Hoffmann or Cooper, but not quite either.

What the name of the font is, I cannot say but from the uniformity of similar letters it would certainly appear to be a font.

I managed to find it with some help.
It is a Letraset font, Le Robur Noir.
That can translate fairly well into Kabarett.
And since I'll be painting this, that's close enough.
So in my best Emily Latilla voice....
"nevermind"

Jill I was going to say that I have seen it before so its legit. I think I may even have it in my old Anagraph font library somewhere. Glad you found it.
