Isa or sgia

Isa is next month in Vegas but this is our busiest timeof year. However what is the difference between isa and sgia. I have not been to either and would like to know is isa is that much better.

Although Vegas does sound better than Florida.

Vegas! Vegas! Vegas! The Florida weather is rough it seems like during every show they have there. Both shows are great if you never been, I have been going forever so I'm burnt out on Vegas but the atmosphere is better in Vegas and there is always big parties by 3m and the big vinyl guys it's fun seeing all these people get hammered. Did shots with Frank about 7 years ago and he ended up sending me a super killer Stetson cowboy hat, way cool guy and marketing genius. Anyways the booths are more likely to host some smoking hotties who make looking at a new piece of equipment even nicer. You will get better info in Florida because most of the sales reps aren't as hungover as they would be in Vegas. Also you can win a bunch of money in the casino!

I have been to both shows . Personaly i like SGIA better, has more venders and lot bigger then ISA

My thoughts are that ISA has more sign business related stuff, whereas SGIA has some of that as well but a lot more of stuff that doesn't interest me as a sign business owner.

Last October was my first trip to Vegas and SGIA, Had a great time before during and after the show. I did find that the show is certainly targeted to the much bigger shops and lacked some of the things a smaller local shop might be interested in.

both shows are great. SGIA has a little more garmet decoration though....

SGIA represents all specialty graphics printers so the show has a wider range of products.

We do sublimation and screen printing so it's a great event for us, but there are also pad printing, cnc equipment, sign and large format graphics, embroidery and all manner of equipment manufacturers.

I think it's an awesome show but I haven't been to ISA to be able to compare the two.

If you're in the market NOW for new equipment go to ISA, if not and you're busy now, go to SGIA. They are both outstanding shows and better than small regional show.
