And potentially going to backfire. It's not like the homeless evaporate when you clean up the brush they are living behind. They will either continue to live there, or move into more imposing places like someone was saying about HA.

Yeah, I just see them making their shelters out in the open but in the same exact spots. We had a guy setup a tent in the wooded area at our old shop so I called the cops. His family came to pick him and his stuff up and actually asked me if there was any way he could stay there, he was just down on his luck and wouldn't bother anything. It was puzzling. Youre the family, you have a nice car and would assume a house, why don't YOU let him stay at your place? Oh, you don't want a junkie in your backyard? Neither do I.

They don't want him because they will never get rid of them...just like you won't. Ugh...plus what happens if he was a sex offender and your wife is there and I think you're granddaugher? Ugh...bad news

Across the creek in back of us, there's a lot about 3.5 acres. A few years a go, some bum or whatever, set up a tent in the woods up on the hill. Was there all summer and into the winter. Came into work one morning and fire engines, medics and all kindsa sh!t all over the place. Found out a little bit later, the guy was using his sterno and somehow it exploded inside his tent and sent the guy sky-high. He was rushed to the hospital with all kindsa injuries. Never saw him again.

I've known people who've gone from family and house, to divorce > coronary > jobloss > streets > shelter > flat > back to living life. That mid stage was hardest.
