I have been using the bottle type replacement cartridges for my Mimaki now for over 2.5 years. Prints great, in fact I feel the ink is better than OEM. Having said that, I have now been experiencing problems for the last 3 or 4 months.
One day when starting up the printer, it had trouble recognizing the chips and indicated either that it was not original ink or simply flash dashed lines in the readout screen.
My seller has tried replacing chips and nothing but problems. I have still been printing by putting in 440ml chips which seemed to work ,but for only so long. I now have actually pulled 3 bottle cartridges out and replaced them with the jetbest 440 cartridges and I can print, however after each job the machine indicates that it sees 3 bad chips. If I power down and then back up again everything is good to print until the next job.
This is a little frustrating and my seller is frustrated as well. I am now waiting for newer chips, but wonder if it ever can be solved.
Any JetBest dealers out here that have seen this problem and have solved it?
I suppose the worse case scenario is that I toast all the ink and go back to OEM
