We purchase 220ml ValuJet Bulk Ink Cartridge from them (JETBEST USA) , turn out did not compatible with my new Mutoh 1624.

Before purchase we ask them make sure it work before on Smartcard, they said yes. The cartridge did not read, bad lot smart card, event their sale guy said right now all the cards did not work form old Mutoh 1614 (try 6 cards on cyan get 1 work).

I ask customer service want to return the ink and ink cartridge, they said not take return; wait to fix with new lot Smart Card. Now I am stuck in middle between buying OEM cartridge to print the jobs and keep biz running.

No phone call back to follow up how it works of help to install.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY (JETBEST USA) - WE GAVE THEM 2ND CHANCE TO DO BUSINESS WITH BUT THEY DROP IT. THERE IS ONE VENDOR ON THIS FORUM SALE THEIR INK – WATCH THEM OUT, IF NOT YOU ARE STUCK LIKE ME.:banghead:

Running JetBest in both our 1204 and 1604. In my opinion fantastic inks - nearly identical profiles to OEM with better reds. The Mutoh smart card is a whole nother ball of wax. JetBest doesn't manufacture the bulk cartridges, plus I would imagine with a machine that new the firmware is a likely issue as Mutoh continually tries to keep people from using 3rd party inks - as do other manufacturers.

Just went through a fiasco with our 1604 when we purchased a NITE bulk ink system to run the JetBest inks in. Turned out the card strips that run down the side into the printer were attached too low and kept the printer from reading them. We were able to get it fixed and now is up and running.

I would advise not bad-mouthing a company for something they don't have control over. Their inks work, work really well for us, and at $89/liter it works out to about $40 for the same amount found in a 440ml cartridge.
