Hello all. Hoping I can get some insight into this problem.
We're running into an issue where the printer is printing images smaller than what they are supposed to be on the scan axis. Feed axis seems to be okay. For every 12 inches of length along the scan direction, we're losing somewhere between 1/64 to 1/32 of an inch. We cut many of these prints on a CNC with specific shapes and sizes and are finding out that the graphic is not lining up with the vectors used to cut as the image shrinks.
I did a test print of rectangles with various lengths and the longer the rectangle, the more noticeable it is. The longest rectangle I set up was 72 inches long and when printed it ended up at 71.875. A whole 1/8"!!!! Not good.
Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.
