got black interior? paint it RED, BURGANDY, YELLOW, HIGH METALIC GREEN OF BROWN. find a pinstriper, PLEASE do not get some bozo who thinks they are mike lavalee.........and put flames on it. camero's are a car that looks good in a bold bright color. google camero web sites/car shows.....that will give you ideas as to what people are doing to that model.

Had a guy here locally that said I should go with candy apple red, said he painted a 78 transam that color and it was real sharp. I will check out those sites for some ideas. I Know a guy that does custom pinstriping...He did a truck of mine...Looked great. Thanks OP.

CANDY APPLE RED...................WRONG COLOR FOR THAT CAR!!!!!!!! candy paints look best on roadsters/full custom, NOT A STOCK 79 CAMERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you go with a red, needs to be CORVETTE/VIPER/FERRARI red. iits a small car, bold colors justify its size. i agree the electric blue suck on that model. looks great on the 68-69 z's.
