Just received my used S806600 yesterday and have a IA39 error code.

Called the Epson tech that is coming out next week and she told me not to fool with the fuse as it is definitely the head. Not quite sure how she knows that without out looking at the fuse first but we will find out next week.
Another thing I tried but did not find any answers. I set to #1 head tried to do a nozzle check and got IA39 error. Reset the printer and set to #2 head and still got the error. Set to both heads and still got the error.
Any specialists on here that might know what is going on?

It is definately one of the heads, I am an authorized tech and have done many of these....I have seen that error caused by a fuser on the old GS6000. These fuses are are user replaceable anyways, they are micro soldered on the main boards. Is this printer under warranty? Is Decision One coming out? No warranty, the tech drove up from Baltimore and it took 2 heads to the tune of $5100. Still in to this thing for under 10K with 2 new heads and a boat load of ink. Way more ink then I will ever use was purchased with it so will have to move a bunch of it.

Nope no Latex. We did more of a dozen samples of every printer on the market and Latex came in dead last. (and it was actually pretty decent) The 12 ink Canon Pigment and Epson 10 ink 9570 Pigment came in first as a tie. Gamut beat everything hands down. Epson S80600 was second and the Latex 365 was last.
For our artist reproductions and landscape and nature photography clients we will stay with pigment unless they want larger prints over 44"
If you look at all of the samples without comparing they all look quite good. It is when you lay them side by side when the real difference shows. We will primarily use the 80600 for canvas wall art for our hospital and corporate clients where final output is not as critical as needed for the artists.
