jv3 130 sp2 media sensorneeds cleaning.... where is it?

My printer is having trouble at times detecting media edges and has some cutting issues. I figure it may just need a cleaning, but cant see where it actually is

It's on the left side of the head carriage. You should see two wires leading down to the left front side of the carriage and that is where the sensor will be.

Took the cover off and found the sensor sitting loose...I have no idea how it came out of it's housing, but I snapped it back in... No wonder it smashed the knife blade off a month or so ago...never knew where it was going... ty

I've always wondered why it just sits in there but that is normal from what I have seen.
