Hi,
Our printer was working ok
Went to switch on today and nothing
No green light, no green illuminatin on switch
Red light flashing on board in back of printer
Spoke to hybrid and they say its the main power board and they want in excess of £5k to repair
Does anyone have any advice or anything I can check myself
Someone said unplug all the head cables to see if starts up. Will this work
Any help please

If you can remove the power supply, check for the startup resistors linked to the big capacitors. One of them has probably gone open circuit, this will prevent the power supply from starting up.

Local mimaki company quoted £4500 gbp for a new power board
I will check this out first

I can't figure out where you're at, but we recently had the same circumstances here.
And it WAS the main board AND the power supply - both were fried.
Thankfully the local tech had a spare of both (used) and we paid around $2000 for the complete repair.
