JV3-160 "Error46" wiper

Ok so I keep getting this "error 46" wiper message. After some web searching I tried cleaning out ink deposits around the base of the wiper. I tried to clean the sensor. Has anyone had his problem? Did you replace the sensor? How difficult or easy is it to do? How much did the part cost?
Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you
