anyone else having issues with their pump replacements using the Triangle-brand solvent resistant ink pumps from Fellers/whomever? I've gone through 3 now, in the past year, and the line keeps splitting within the pump mechanism.
still got 1 fully functional OEM pump, and now 3 Triangle-brand pumps with rotted ink lines

its the tubing through the pumps that is failing. I had a problem with the cap tubing failing and getting clogged. got all swelled up and mushy. I had to find the solvent tubing.

Have not replaced the pump on our JV33 yet but I can promise you this. It will be an OEM Mimaki pump. Back when we had our JV3 - the original OEM pumps lasted nearly 4 years, then in less than a 6 month period of time I went through no less than 6 different aftermarket pumps. Each a different brand and all 6 failed. At least 3 were lines breaking down internally, one would allow the line to contact the edge of a gear wearing a hole in it, another simply fell apart, etc. Got 2 new OEM Mimaki pumps, put them in and guess what? Never did replace them again in the few more years we had the JV3...... Yes, in my opinion, aftermarket pumps do indeed suck, just not like they are supposed to.
