JV3 Firewire connect- 4 pin to 6 pin?

Hello everyone,

I am wondering if anyone has any experience connecting a firewire cable that is 6 pin to 4 pin on a JV3 160SP? We are planning to have it connected to a laptop but it only has a 4 pin 1394 port and the printer has a 6 pin 1394.

Anyone tried this or see anything wrong with it?

Just get a cable that goes from 4 pin male and a 6 pin male cable.
The price is so low for the cable i would just try it.
