JV3 RIP Software

I have a friend who has a JV3 and absolutely hates his RIP (Rasterlink) and wants to upgrade to a different RIP without breaking the bank. Does anyone know a solution for him? I know Onyx (expensive) will do it, but is there anything else out there that will or a subscription-based software that will work with a JV3 also?

You can subscribe for one month, and see if you like it, do some testing. This is how we did it, customer support is very helpful. They've installed (remotely) all the drivers and color profiles for our printers.
After testing, we subscribed for one year with a better price/month. Flexi is a good and easy to use software.
