JV3 SP130 II Continuous printing

Ok, so heres my problem i have mutiple print groups to print, and every time i have all my groups ready after the first print group the printer goes back into local mode. How do i get it to stay in remote mode so i dont have to hit the remote button after each print group.

Our JV3 does this. If you group everything you're printing together in Rasterlink it won't stop between each job since the machine perceives it as a single long run.

Granted, that's a hack, but then I haven't devoted much time to solving this problem since it's very seldom an issue for us because of the way we use our JV3.

However, were I to start digging, I -believe- there's a setting buried somewhere in the JV3's menus that governs whether or not it kicks back over to local whenever it finishes a job. Good luck.

Yeah it used to be set up like that before but cant find where the setting is now, i do commercial real estate signs and some companys only get a certain PASS as others get more PASSES so that is why i have different groups.

interesting, my JV3 160 stays in Remote mode after it completes printing.
might just be a 130-thing, or a rip-software thing (doubtful), but i'll bet there's a setting that you can change within the printer's menus.

My JV3 160SP always stays in remote until I change it on the control panel of the printer. It must be something with the 130s

Its driving me crazy lol, i need to get this fixed i cant always be here to push back to remote and i need my prints. Do any of you think it could be rasterlink problem?

It might be as I don't use Rasterlink, I use Onyx

Problem solved, ink was near end so kept going back to local. I just recharged my chips and presto good to go.
