jv3160s non original ink problem

Hey, my jv3160s is running bulk ink system not sure what sort, was running fine i had the machine off for about a month not in use, switched it on today and now it is not reading my inks its says non original ink, the system has permanent chips in it so dont know what is going on, i dont really want to buy another set off perm chips again or do they actually fail after some years...i think the system is from solvent ink cartridges not 100 percent sure.

I think they do go out of date eventually.

You could reset the date by puling the battery on the main board ,it is a bit fiddly though.
That will probably bring it back on line.

Pulled the battery on main board and it work saved me $$ buying new chips thanks mate
