Jv33- 160 sublimation printing

hi everyone,

does anyone here use JV33 - 160 mimaki sublimation? and rasterlink pro 5 sg is the rip software

I would like to ask if anyone of you know the difference of the ND and VD of resolution? i am always using VD as it was recommended by my supplier but I would like know what is ND..

Sure. The JV33 is fine for sub. VD=variable dot. ND=Normal Dot. Variable prints just different dot sizes. Normal uses one size drop. With today's print speeds, I'm not sure why anyone uses ND anymore for dye sub. VD will give you better quality.

VD is always recommended.

Besides raster link, which comes with Mimaki printer free of charge, you should also look at other rips, such as Ergosoft and wasatch, especially for spot color management, color gradients, and ETC.
