JV33 Discharge not working properly

When running jv33 discharge and wash function ink is not exiting the lines.

Pump system is working properly. When we ran pump cleaning we saw liquid run through system.

After doing the discharge should all of the ink be out of the dampers?

Any suggestions?

if it is pumping ink out of the system, and you can see ink going into the waste bucket, but the lines/dampers still have a lot of fluid in them, something is't working right. either the cap isn't sealing, the pump isn't working 100%, or the valved are sticking. something is making the ink not flow completely.

you can run the discharge and wash multiple times, if you're on newer firmware. it will ask you if you want to wash again, just tell it to do that, and it will restart the pumps.

you may want to do it manually as well.

Absorb youreslf through the cap station (replacing pump job)
you will do it a lot faster, and you wont use the pump (prolonged life)

if you are planning to change the kind of ink, or leave the machine stopped like for a month or 2, you may want to do a discharge & wash as you say. you will need 8 cleaning solution cartridges, or you can do it manually with only 1 cleaning solution cartrigde.

Insert cleaning solution cartrige in cartridge socket 1 for example.
Open valve of first cartridge (to this you'll need to enter service mode, if you dont know how to use it dont do this)
and start absorbing with weak pressure. through respective damper. you will be able to see cleaning solution come.

This will: Clean tubes so the dont get clogged and clean dampers filters as well. and extende the life of these. (anyway $5 dollares each).

hope it helps any thougts ask.
